Plant & Resources

Plant is selected from the following available plant and equipment:

• Loaders – 5 Swinger 3.5t, 0.5m bucket -used for minor work, clean up, etc.
• Excavators – Arrow uses owner operators and has access to over 40 excavators – varying is size from 1 to 20+ tonnes.
• Trucks – Arrow uses owner operators – up to 28 trucks are regularly used and more are available as required. Arrow owns two 4 wheel Hino trucks for deliveries, etc.
• Rollers – Arrow owns 8 rollers and hires additional rollers as required
• Graders – Arrow owns one small grader and hires others as required
• Water tanker – Arrow owns a water truck and trailer water tank
• Asphalt and chip seal – Arrow owns 2 pavers (Bitelli BB 632 & Neal 300), an emulsion tank truck and trailer, a hot bitumen tanker, chip spreader, rollers and all miscellaneous equipment for asphalt and chip seal work
• Arrow owns survey equipment, compaction plates and tampers, concrete mixers, concrete saws, traffic signs and safety fencing, and other tools and equipment required for civil engineering construction; as required these are supplemented by hire equipment.

Subcontractors – Arrow has well developed relationships with a full range of sub-contractors – all with excellent experience and track record

Supplier Arrangements - Arrow enjoys excellent supply arrangements with a full range of suppliers. Materials will be sourced as follows:

• Aggregates – Winstones, Fulton Hogan;
• Concrete – Holcim, Firth & Stevenson;
• Asphalt- Downer EDI Works, Blacktop;
• Drainage – Humes or Hynds
• Miscellaneous Materials – Stevenson, various;
• Hire of barriers, etc. – various.
• Traffic control – Quality Traffic Services
